Critchill School Council March 2025
Critchill School Council enjoyed a very pleasant walk down to Hunting Raven bookshop, in Frome town center yesterday. They were on a mission to exchange World Book Day Tokens for World Book Day Books.
 
Tina the shop manager made everybody feel very welcome and talked through what each book in the offer was about. The book shop holds 9,300 books, Leo guessed the closest with a guess of 10,000 (the closest out of all schools who have visited this week)
 
After making their own selection, the pupils collected books for the rest of the pupils at Critchill School. Then, it was back in the sunshine for a walk back to school.
 
The books will come home with pupils later this week. Thank you to Tina and all the staff for making us feel welcome. We really enjoyed our visit.
